It’s Not My Fault This Happened To Me

Everything in your life has come to you via choices that you have made. In fact during lectures and talks, when I have stated this fact people have walked out, become downright hostile, hurled angry words at me or burst into tears. All of them in their own way are saying, “that’s not true. I didn’t do anything!” My response to that is simple, “Oh! So you don’t think so?” Here is an interesting short experiment for you to try which will support you in seeing YOUR truth of this fact. Throughout my life when I would bitch, whine, moan, cry and complain, bitterly about an injustice that I felt had been perpetrated against me, much to my annoyance, my Mum would always ask the same question.  “What did you do!?”  WTF! LOL!  I didn’t actually say that to my […]

Entrepreneurs Don’t Waste Time On Your Competition

In 1997 I was a newbie entrepreneur producing customized skin care it was easy for me to get caught in the trap of trying to keep up with the big cosmetic houses.  In order for me to compete, I felt that I had to emulate them in every way.  I was also running at breakneck speed desperately trying to keep pace with what the experts predicted to be the next emerging industry trend. I locked into a self-induced battle between what I was wanting and what market research told me I must do.  Using this research I chose to take a large loan out and spend thousands of dollars on graphic design and product packaging. When I opened my first delivery of my new packaging all I could say was wow!  I was ecstatic, because now I felt like I […]

Stop Complaining About Everything

When something goes wrong, it’s easy to get sucked into a self created vortex of negativity.  Complaining to any and everyone who provides a sympathetic ear.  This type of behavior allows a small situation to spiral out of control.  Moving from a negative headspace to a positive one takes a few simple steps that requires a willingness to have an honest and authentic conversation with self.  The self-talk is based on a method of intrinsic questions that are designed to quickly and efficiently get people into a new and positive headspace under their own steam. And provide tools to stay there.  The questions are created around the following 8 tips/concepts listed below. Being open to having an authentic and intrinsic conversation with self Validation of your feelings Keeping your feelings your own: Ownership Letting go of controlling other people’s feelings […]

Things That Support You In Achieving Your Goals

The concept of a product, organizer or digital device supporting you in establishing better goals and reaching them is can be a tall order, if, certain preliminaries are not in place first.  It’s like Duncan Hines selling you a supreme ultra moist chocolate cake.  If you don’t have a understanding of your role in the process and all that you need to do to make the cake a reality, the mix is going to remain in the box and or at the very least you’ll be extremely dissatisfied with the outcome. It’s easy to say I want to lose weight.  But the goal when expressed like that is too large, it’s to ambiguous.  The questions that beg to be answered are, “How much weight? Do you want to do this with diet or just exercise?  Or both?  Do you want […]

I’m Sorry But; Isn’t An Apology It’s An Accusation

What happens when we don’t communicate effectively there is disintegration and undermining of understanding, which leads to irrational behavior.  When cooler heads prevail or hindsight is the new view finder lens an apology can be made.   This is where it can and many times does go radically wrong again. One of the most important things that any couple can do when apologizing is OWN their feelings. This isn’t even about owning up to what you or they have or have not done.  Let’s face it; for the most part, all parties are aware of what’s gone on.  It’s not like it’s a surprise. Let’s dissect it this way. When someone says “I’m really sorry that I shouted like that, but, you always make me so mad!”  There are three things that are fundamentally wrong with that apology. Shifting the blame […]

Aromatherapy Diffusion In A Confined Space

January 2016 at day care in Idaho, fire fighters were called out because the director of the center thought that the children and staff where suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. What had transpired was an overdose of essential oils.  Can that happen?  Oh yeah it can; particularly if people don’t know how to use the oils safely. As a master aromatherapist, I have seen a rapid increase in incidences like this one. When using essential oils in confined spaces, such as a car or room without ventilation or poor ventilation or even a room with a mass of people, it is vitally important that the right essential oils be used. Within such confine spaces, it might be best to use the more volatile essential oils or e.oils with top notes. This basically means that they dissipate very quickly.   Also, having […]

What Is A Soulmate?

Major thrills, chills and heady excitement, that at times can feel almost overwhelming is what many men and women experience at the inception of a new relationship. They are both on a heightened sense of alert and stimulate the body to create a mind blowing cocktail of dopamine, norepinephrine and phenylethylamine, mixed with surges of adrenaline and testosterone.  This literally produces the physical response of chills or at the very least butterflies in the stomach. Added to this both men and women are earnestly looking for the answer to that age-old question, “could this be the one?  Is this my “soulmate?” The general view of a “soulmate” is an intimate, loving relationship or partnership, in which two people are bonded by a deep connection that seems to defy any logical explanation.  There is a simple rightness about being together, because […]

Is Your Mental, Emotional, Physical And Spiritual House In Order?

Click here to join the live conversation or call in 646-727-2759 Far too often in our lives, in spite of doing “the work needed,” the things that we want to manifest, don’t.  For all intent and outward purposes we are doing all the right things.  Affirming and or praying to conceptualize our vision into a habitual thought form. We are engaging our emotion via our five senses as Dr. Wendy has suggested that we do.  And yet, we get this close, to our desired manifestation that we can taste it and see the golden flecks of success in its eyes.  And then, chaos ensues and it slips away from our grasp.  With the resilience that is an intrinsic part of our ability as humans to continue to thrive, we shrug off our misadventures saying, “it wasn’t for me or it […]

Am I Asking The Right Questions of God?

Click here to join live or call in 646-727-2759 We talk to God.  We pray to God.  We beseech God, rale, cry and scream at God.  We walk with God. We have other people liaise with God on our behalf.  We accept the blessings bestowed upon us by God, and readily reject that which we call accursed.   We do all of this on a daily basis and, yet, are we asking the right questions of God?  The current state of your life, your health, wealth, finances and your relationship with self and others will answer that question for you.  Talking with God isn’t something that you can learn, as in how to pray or recite an affirmation.  All that is good and has its place in our spiritual evolvement, yet, talking to God isn’t something that you learn; it’s something […]
