Most people assume when their manifestation doesn’t happen that they are at fault. They feel it’s because of something that they did wrong. They didn’t meditate long enough; they didn’t recite their affirmation three times per day. They failed to pray without ceasing. For a hot second, they were doubtful about their hearts desire. They weren’t thankful enough and the list goes on and on. Is this you? Do you resonate with any of the above?
Then you have the fatalistic attitude that exacerbates lack and limitation that states, sighing in long suffering tones, “it just wasn’t meant to be.” Or “I knew I was asking for way too much. I should have started out smaller.” And ironically, “I was only asking for a little!” Is this you?
Then there’s the category who state that they are intitled to what they ask for, because of the things that they do. They attend service weekly. They are beneficent, they donate money to their professed worthy cause and, and, they volunteer their time. Time in this earthly dimension being our most precious commodity. You see once a minute has gone you can’t get it back. They take care of family and friends at the expense of self, always putting themselves last. Is this you?
“I don’t know what I want, but I know that it isn’t this.” Umm! Really!? Oxymoronic is the only way to describe that turn of phrase. So, let me just set the record straight. In order for you to know what you don’t want; you must know what you do want. That happens to be a spiritual Law that is immutable. Whether you are able to articulate it or not is totally different to not knowing. Is this you?
When dealing with the Spiritual Laws that support you in manifesting what you want for your life, it’s important for you to adopt a flexible approach and response. Your subconscious or higher God Mind, has an aerial view and can see events occurring with people, places and things, based on choices that are being made. Choices that you are not aware of.
When something doesn’t manifest for you, even if your fingertips where touching it and it slipped away, even if you thought that you had it, and that it was a slam dunk, doesn’t me what you want isn’t for you. It means changing your view finder lens and embracing the nuance that this particular version of the thing you wanted isn’t for you. But the thing that you want is.
Look at it this way. You want a loving relationship. The person who you chose isn’t going to give you the desires of your heart. The Universal Creators aerial view can see things that you can’t, and can see that long term it will not work out. Therefore, acting on your behalf to ensure that you manifest the desires of your heart, will dissolve that relationship. So, it’s the person that’s wrong for you, not the desire for a loving relationship. And this is where emotions make it complicated for people. When their manifestation falls short, they go into victim mode. “I’ll never be in a loving relationship!” What!? Where did that come from? That is the wrong attitude to take.
I’m not saying don’t be upset, hurt, angry, dejected etc. if the house falls through, you get fired from your job. Your business folds or you spouse leave you or cheats on you. Feel every ounce of the emotion that is pouring out from the depths of your soul. But don’t get stranded there. Don’t bury yourself within your emotions. Your emotions are expressing facets of your feelings in real-time. Realize that those same emotions are subject to change and will change. Understand that God, The Universal Creator has got your back, and would never, ever, EVER hurt you.
A friend of mind had the pen in her hand to sign on the dotted line for her majestic 6-bedroom 7.5-bathroom home. Something when wrong in the final minutes of the 11th hour. The mortgage fell through. She didn’t get the house.
To say she felt gutted would be an understatement. Like everyone else in her circle, I told her that this house wasn’t for her. But unlike others in her circle, I told her to give thanks to God for taking care of things and that this situation had happened. At the time I told her this, she was still raw from the loss of her “home” and wasn’t embracing my suggestion one bit. Well I held the space for her affirming that all is well and unfolding in Devine Order. She found a gorgeous home with 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms in a beautiful neighborhood. It cost a little more than she wanted to pay and wasn’t as centrally located.
The 6-bedroom house that she originally wanted was built on the outskirts of a quarry. Believe it or not, it was centrally located. The quarry had been there for years and at one time was out in the sticks. But as the city grew, developers built around it. Fast forward 8 years after the house signing fell through. Everyone in the housing development are having structural problems with their homes, because the earth has literally shifted and keeps shifting and the houses are literally being pulled a part. There is dust pollution which causes respiratory problems. Noise pollutions from excavation and huge 18 wheelers driving by. The smell of diesel fumes and rubber is overwhelming especially in summer. And of course, the resale value on the homes are non-existent. As of 2016, the quarry owners want to expand their business digging closer and deeper to the housing developments.
Yes, it hurt badly when the mortgage fell through. Yes, they spent more money by having to keep their possessions in storage and rent an apartment for and additional six months. Yes, she wasn’t able to host Christmas that year. Yes, they had to spend more money for a smaller home. Yes, it was centrally located. She couldn’t have foreseen any of these horrors. But her Higher God Mind did.
So yes, her current home’s resale value is worth 2.5 times what she paid for it. Yes, she doesn’t have to deal with sound, smell and air pollutants. Yes, her home is on a solid foundation. Yes, no one is digging holes that has the potential for her home to slide into.
When you don’t get the manifestation that you want, before throwing in the towel or bemoaning your lot in life, consider that there is a Universal reason for it. And a good one at that. And if you are open, that reason will be revealed to you.
