Why Does The Same Thing Keep Showing Up In My Life?

No matter how you dress it up, or undress it, meat and potatoes at its root core will always be, just that, meat and potatoes.

When you attract into your life the same situation, only with different people, perhaps in a different location, surrounded by different things, it’s still the same situation.  The only difference is, is that the situation is being served up to you in a different way.  It’s important to note here that when you cut everything away, and expose the core, it’s the same situation that has been following you around.  It’s just being served up with different people, places and things.

The difference is only there to help support you by presenting you with a different lens to view it through.

Sometimes the time in between experiencing the same situation only served up in new and different ways, can literally be minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, even decades.  Yet, no matter what the time frame is, it’s all about you addressing a core issue that you have.  It’s about finding an inner resolution regarding this situation, which will allow you to move forward, knowing and growing in your life.

Personal experience has taught me that emotions can take you down a rabbit hole, where you get lost within the warrens of your mind.  And as a result, the issue never gets addressed, because you move on to the next emotionally charged issue.  And so, it goes on and on, as you jump aboard and ride your own personal emotional roller coaster.

For the most part, we consciously realize we are reliving the same issue, only experiencing it in a different format. To get a handle on what the issue is showing you, I suggest you give yourself permission to have your emotional outpouring, with a caveat.   Inform yourself that at some point within the next, you fill in the blank, you will address the situation.

When you choose to address the situation, ask yourself this, “What does it look like, or feel like, or sound like to understand what this experience is showing me?”  You’ll be surprised at the power found within these intrinsic lines of questioning.  Keep asking yourself the questions over and over, and eventually you’ll receive an answer that you know, intuitively to be true.  This will free you to move forward, knowing and growing in your life.
