Attractioners,
This meme came across my feed today, via Gail Marie entitled, Lifequake, and it really resonated with me. Ironically, or perhaps, not so ironically, I said the same thing to Dee earlier today, using slightly different terminology.
Sometimes, the things that have devastated us the most, the situations that knock us not only to our knees, but, ‘knock-us-out’, are the situations that bring the greatest personal growth, the most inner strengthening, and the most amazing transformation. I know that you’ve heard me say this many times before, and yet, here I go again, reiterating this fundamental important aspect of personal growth and transformation.
The warm and fuzzies, as you know is my terminology for all the feel good situations that we experience in life. And those feel good situations, typically, are not usually the type of situations that create the catalyst for dramatic transformational change. It’s the “seemingly” catastrophic situations that have the potential to do that for us. It’s the experiences that shake our foundation to its inner core.
What seems to be a catastrophic event in our lives can only bring about transformational change, if the situation is looked at through a different lens. And therein lays the rub. Finding the wherewithal to seek out a different lens to view the situation. And that my friends, is not an easy thing to do while you are living within the presence of your raw mercurial emotions.
So, as I have said before, give yourself permission to feel the way that you are feeling. Write yourself that permission slip. Once again, don’t deny yourself that process. Don’t you ever deny yourself the process of feeling and experiencing how you feel, in that moment, in your NOW!
To your permission slip, also add that as you go through your process you go through it within God’s Grace. Within Universal Space, within Universal Time. Choose to lean on Divine Wisdom, Infinite Intelligence, Universal Understanding, your Inner Guidance, and The Universal Law of Love, and you’ll find your way to a new view finder lens that you need for this situation. Umm…that was a run on sentence that my English teacher would have had a field day with! LOL!
There are ways to support you in finding a new lens to view your situation. That encompasses asking yourself a couple of intrinsic questions. Well, it’s more than a couple. “What is this situation showing me, about me? And What does it look like to use this information for the betterment of me? Thinking beyond this present moment where I find myself now, what does peace around this situation look like, feel like or sound like, taste like or even smell like?” Answering those questions, authentically and with your own inner personal transparency, will provide you with the unerring direction to access the lens for the creation of the new you.
The thing is you must first choose ‘to want’ to view your current situation and your life through a different lens. And therein lays the rub. Choices! Choices! Choices! Your life is built upon them. You must first choose ‘to want’ something different for yourself, even if it begins with, “I don’t want to feel like this anymore.” I would then ask you to, “paint me a picture using words to describe what you are wanting to feel like.”
And before I finish up, it’s important to note that we view ‘love’ through a romantic, emotional lens that defines our likes and dislikes. From people, places, things, to ice cream and everything in between. The same is not true of God, The Universal Creator.
The Universal Law of Love is transmutative and not romantic. Which means, it’s the energy required for the action, and or process of changing something into a different nature, substance, form, or condition. This is why Love, Universal Love, is so important. It is one of the major underpinnings for Life and the Law of Attraction. Change can only take place where Love, Universal Love is. But that’s all for another day.
Blessings,
Dr. Wendy
