The Universal Law of Imagination

This law brings the subconscious and the conscious minds into harmonic union and allows for authentic communication and expression.  It allows a free flowing dialog to take place that can be consciously directed.  It allows the faculty of the mind or action within the mind to produce ideas in the form of mental images, feelings and thoughts, which create concepts of things not yet present in tangible form, yet experienced in the intangible.

The imagination has the ability to intuitively create images, which means accurate information or insight attained from sources unknown, and or consciously constructed pictorial images.  These creations can be pictures that are still life or movies; they can also be thoughts or feelings. The thing imagined can present itself as abstract, random or organized, fleeting or sustaining.
The function of the imagination is twofold:

  • To bring into conscious awareness what is desired
  • Communicate and express the desire in a way that is understood and believable to you.

The Universal Law of Speech

Words give understandable form to imaginings and provide the vehicle for expression and communication.  Words are governed by the Universal Law of Speech, which encompasses oral communication and the ability to express one’s thoughts and emotions by sounds and gesture.

The two most underrated Universal or Spiritual Laws are Imagination and Speech.  Words are the most powerful tool that we possess.  The twenty-six letters within our alphabet is used to create life and the life that you are currently living; the life that you have lived and the life that you are going to live.  Most people have a general idea about how powerful their words can be.  They have had glimpses of this power throughout their lives.  A few understand this power because they have made an “I am” statement that stretches them beyond their current capabilities, and what’s more they have succeeded.  This is the type of glimpse into our word power I’m speaking of.  Yet, most have no idea that the five vowel and twenty-one consonants in the English language have the potential to unleash the raw creative power to manifest every desire of the heart.

Words transform our thoughts, feelings and pictorial imaginings into something that has a meaningful structure and can be communicated and expressed and above all understood. Each letter, symbol, hand sign or character, depending on where you are from in the world has the ability to set into motion an energetic stream, much like electricity that invokes the creation process.

All spiritual teachings tell us the same thing as is told in the Bible, Isaiah 55: 11

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

That is the power of creation.  That is the word made manifest.  Your words manifesting.  It truly is as simple as that.  Yet, we make things infinitely harder for ourselves, by not understanding nor embracing or owning that good or bad we speak it into existence.

Your imagination is where you live consciously and unconsciously.  It’s active 24/7; 365 days a year.  It never sleeps, it never pauses, it never stops working for you. So, I believe that instead of allowing your imagination to run away with you most of the time, take conscious control of what you want it to out picture for your life.  Because what you imagine that elicits a passionate emotional response is what will manifest in your life or be out pictured on your screen of space.  Just so we are on the same page, a passionate response can be a “I don’t care attitude or roll on the floor laughing!”  In this instance passionate is describing a deep feeling.

So how does all this stuff about the imagination tie into my theme for this year, which is “Self Talk?” You speak to yourself with words, which are a vehicle of communication and expression for your mental imagines, thoughts and feelings.

Here’s something I want you to start thinking about.

“What does it look like or sound like or feel like, smell like or taste like to consciously use your imagination to “physically” experience what you are wanting to manifest in your life, before it is made tangible?
