5 Empowering Beliefs To Hold On To Part II

In part 2 of 5 Empowering Beliefs To Hold On To we look at the remaining three belief systems that can support you in creating the life that you are wanting to live.

  1. Self empowerment begins with acknowledging without reservation that you are not broken, damaged or in need of being fixed by anyone or anything. You may have had many life altering experiences that left you feeling depleted, a little jaded and unsure of yourself.  By exploring what you are wanting for yourself, you can take any life experience and flip it, so that it becomes a stepping stone to get to where you are wanting to be.  Self empowerment requires clarity.  To find personal clarity you must have an intrinsic conversation with self, ask “What am I wanting to see as I look beyond this life altering experience?”  Now paint yourself a picture showing yourself the steps to achieve it.  Don’t get caught up in the “HOW!” Just use your imagination and it will show you what you need to do.
  2. The fact that you are who you are is a living testament to your individuality and uniqueness. The things that you do in the way in which you do them, speaks to your purpose for living. You are here in this life for a reason and you get to choose what that looks like and how you show up.  Start a dialog with self by asking, “why do people seek me out and what do I usually do to help them?”  This starts a personal conversation with self about self and as you continue to explore will unfold into the empowerment of your purpose.
  3. It is empowering to foster a belief in self, because sometimes you are the only one who will believe in you. People aren’t always going to be on your page and this will show up as disapproval, misunderstanding, harsh criticism and the list goes on.  Believing in you allows you to weather those storms.   Take time out to talk to self.  Find a time when you will not be disturbed approximately 20 minutes. Sit comfortably and close your eyes.  Take a couple of deep breaths and relax.  Gently ask yourself “what does it feel like or sound like to believe in me without all the external chatter of who I should be and what I should be doing?”

Your beliefs are all you have to hold on to!  They are the foundation of how you are choosing to manifest and live your life.
